# AIMS Entry Alert EA (MT4) — Quickstart

**AIMS Entry Alert EA** is an automated Expert Advisor designed to execute and backtest **Setup 1 (Inside-the-Box Anticipatory)** and **Setup 2 (Confirmed Fractal Breakout)** momentum structures on MetaTrader 4.

Built with direct analytical calculation (`CAIMSEntryAlertEngine`) for sub-millisecond execution with **zero `iCustom()` overhead**, the engine filters trade signals through the **Williams Alligator Alignment Gatekeeper** and dynamically trails risk along the **Gator Blue Line (Jaws)**.

Open Chart & Attach EA

Open an H1 or M15 chart for your target symbol (e.g. GER40 or EURUSD) and drag AIMSEntryAlertEA from the Navigator.

Set License Key

Paste your assigned iTradeAIMS license key into InpSerialKey (leave blank when running Strategy Tester).

Load Symbol Preset

Click Load in Inputs and choose the calibrated .set configuration from MQL4/Presets/AIMSEntryAlert/.

Enable AutoTrading

Select Allow live trading and Allow DLL imports in Common tab, then toggle terminal AutoTrading ON.

### Step 1: Copy System Files[​](#step-1-copy-system-files "Direct link to Step 1: Copy System Files")

1. In MetaTrader 4, open **File** > **Open Data Folder**.
2. Copy the `MQL4` directory from the software package (`AIMS-Entry-Alert-EA-v1.00-MT4.zip`) directly into your terminal data folder.
3. In the MetaTrader 4 **Navigator** panel (`Ctrl + N`), right-click on **Expert Advisors** and select **Refresh**.
4. Confirm **`AIMSEntryAlertEA`** appears in your Navigator list.

### Step 2: Attach to Chart[​](#step-2-attach-to-chart "Direct link to Step 2: Attach to Chart")

1. Open an **H1** or **M15** chart for your desired symbol (e.g., `GER40` or `EURUSD`).

2. Drag **`AIMSEntryAlertEA`** onto the chart.

3. In the **Common** tab:

   

   * Select **Allow live trading**.
   * Select **Allow DLL imports**.

4. In the **Inputs** tab:

   

   * Enter your license key into **`InpSerialKey`** (leave blank for Strategy Tester).
   * Click **Load** and select the matching parameter file from `MQL4/Presets/AIMSEntryAlert/`.

5. Click **OK**.

6. Confirm the terminal **AutoTrading** button is toggled on (green icon).
