# AIMS Banana: Trend Continuation & Pullback Trigger

AIMS Banana supplies chart timing signals to review. A completed signal is one component fact; it does not place an order or establish agreement across the Confluence Pack.

## What You See on the Chart[](#what-you-see-on-the-chart "Direct link to What You See on the Chart")

This example shows three bearish impulse candles followed by three pullback candles:

1. **Banana 1:** candle four breaks the last impulse candle's high (51 > 50) and has a higher low.
2. **Banana 2:** candle five makes another higher high and higher low. The first marker remains visible.
3. **Banana 3:** candle six makes another higher high and higher low, even though its body is red. All three markers remain visible.

Each marker appears above its completed pullback candle. The number counts the pullback candles; candle colour alone does not determine that count. The example stops at Banana 3, without showing an entry or later outcome.

Banana 3: Candle 6 is red but makes a higher high (60 > 55) and higher low (43 > 40). It is the third pullback candle: bearish Banana 3 appears above it, with Banana 1 and Banana 2 still visible.

#### What was known

1. **After candle 1:**

The first completed candle closed below its open.
2. **After candle 2:**

A second bearish candle continued the move lower.
3. **After candle 3:**

Three completed bearish candles form the impulse leg.
4. **After candle 4:**

The first pullback candle completed and B1 appeared above candle 4.
5. **After candle 5:**

The second pullback candle completed. B1 remains on candle 4 and B2 is above candle 5.
6. **After candle 6:**

The red third pullback candle completed. B1, B2 and B3 are above candles 4, 5 and 6.

Candles: blue closes at or above the open; red closes below the open.

Candle 6 is red but makes a higher high (60 > 55) and higher low (43 > 40). It is the third pullback candle: bearish Banana 3 appears above it, with Banana 1 and Banana 2 still visible.

B1, B2 and B3 mean bearish Banana 1, 2 and 3. Each marker appears after its candle completes. These are illustrated signals, not trade-entry instructions.

For a bullish setup, the direction is reversed: the first pullback candle breaks the previous impulse candle's **low**. A change in candle colour or an inside bar alone does not establish this pullback.

## Visual Chart Markers[](#visual-chart-markers "Direct link to Visual Chart Markers")

* **Buy marker:** the chart reference below its signal candle.
* **Sell marker:** the chart reference above its signal candle.
* **Signal family and accents:** read the installed product's labels and settings rather than inferring a family or quality from colour alone.
* **Optional EMA lines:** context references, not automatic entry prices.

The shared teaching palette differs from a user's configured MT5 chart colours.

## How to review a Banana signal[](#how-to-review-a-banana-signal "Direct link to How to review a Banana signal")

1. Read the impulse and pullback together; do not start with the arrow in isolation.
2. Wait for the signal candle to complete. A forming candle is not the completed signal taught here.
3. Check the Banana tab's signal read and the surrounding Box, Wave and Bubble information.
4. Review the combined assessment and your risk plan before deciding whether the setup is relevant.

An indicator chart signal and a Banana EA order are different surfaces. This lesson does not specify entry execution, stop distance, position size or a target.

## The Two Signal Families: Banana vs. Seed[](#the-two-signal-families-banana-vs-seed "Direct link to The Two Signal Families: Banana vs. Seed")

The product distinguishes Banana and Seed signals. Use the [signal-detection reference](/indicators/banana/docs/features/signal-detection.md) for the supported patterns and the [validation flowchart](/indicators/banana/docs/strategy-foundation/signal-validation-flowchart.md) for review. This lesson illustrates one approved Banana example, not every family or filter.

## Essential User Settings[](#essential-user-settings "Direct link to Essential User Settings")

Use [Banana MT5 settings](/indicators/banana/docs/mt5/settings.md) and [alerts](/indicators/banana/docs/mt5/alerts.md) for the installed version. Alerts prompt review; they do not execute trades.

## Frequently Asked Questions[](#frequently-asked-questions "Direct link to Frequently Asked Questions")

### Does the AIMS Banana Indicator repaint?[](#does-the-aims-banana-indicator-repaint "Direct link to Does the AIMS Banana Indicator repaint?")

The teaching example uses completed candles. Do not treat a designed illustration as proof of runtime behaviour or an unconditional guarantee about changes after recalculation, data updates or settings changes.

### Can I trade Banana signals on any timeframe?[](#can-i-trade-banana-signals-on-any-timeframe "Direct link to Can I trade Banana signals on any timeframe?")

Review the product's supported configuration and your method for the chosen market/timeframe. This schematic is instrument-agnostic and supplies no timeframe-specific performance evidence.

### How does Banana connect to the other Confluence indicators?[](#how-does-banana-connect-to-the-other-confluence-indicators "Direct link to How does Banana connect to the other Confluence indicators?")

Banana supplies timing information. Box supplies structural context, Wave supplies cycle context, and Bubble supplies band/stretch information. The dashboard interprets their available facts. A valid component signal can coexist with a cautious combined assessment.
