# Install & Licensing on MetaTrader 5
The **AIMS Confluence Pack** ships as a clean, portable **ZIP package**—no Windows `.exe` installers, no registry clutter, and no complex wizard screens.
All five indicators in the pack are unlocked with a **single Serial Key** that you enter once into the Dashboard.
Portable ZIP Installation
Because the pack ships as a simple ZIP archive, installation is as easy as copying files into your MT5 Data Folder. It works across any broker and portable MT5 setups.

## Step 1: Download the Confluence Pack ZIP[](#1-install-the-files "Direct link to Step 1: Download the Confluence Pack ZIP")
1. Log into your member account at [my.itradeaims.net](https://my.itradeaims.net/).
2. Navigate to **Latest Downloads** and download the **AIMS Confluence Pack ZIP** (`iTradeAIMS-Confluence-Pack-v4.1.1.zip`).
3. Extract (unzip) the file on your computer.
Inside the unzipped folder, you will find:

## Step 2: Copy Files to Your MT5 Data Folder[](#step-2-copy-files-to-your-mt5-data-folder "Direct link to Step 2: Copy Files to Your MT5 Data Folder")
1. Open your **MetaTrader 5** terminal.
2. In the top menu, click **File $\rightarrow$ Open Data Folder**.
3. In the Windows File Explorer window that opens, you will see a folder named **`MQL5`**.
4. Drag and drop (or copy) the **`MQL5`** folder from the unzipped pack into this window.
* If prompted by Windows to merge or overwrite folders, click **Yes** / **Merge**.
5. Return to MT5, press **Ctrl+N** to open the **Navigator** window, right-click **Indicators**, and click **Refresh**.
6. You will now see **iTradeAIMS** under Indicators with all five `.ex5` files ready.

## Step 3: MT5 Terminal Settings & Licensing[](#step-3-mt5-terminal-settings--licensing "Direct link to Step 3: MT5 Terminal Settings & Licensing")
To allow the licensing security library to communicate with the activation server, configure two standard MT5 settings:
### 1. Enable DLL Imports[](#1-enable-dll-imports "Direct link to 1. Enable DLL Imports")
1. In MT5, click **Tools $\rightarrow$ Options** (or press `Ctrl+O`).
2. Select the **Expert Advisors** tab.
3. Check the box for **"Allow DLL imports"**.
### 2. Allow WebRequest for the License Server[](#2-allow-webrequest-for-the-license-server "Direct link to 2. Allow WebRequest for the License Server")
1. In the same **Expert Advisors** tab, check the box for **"Allow WebRequest for listed URL"**.
2. Double-click the green plus icon (`+`) and add the server URL:
`https://dlms.itradeaims.net`
3. Click **OK** to save settings.

## Step 4: One-Time Serial Key Activation[](#step-4-one-time-serial-key-activation "Direct link to Step 4: One-Time Serial Key Activation")
You only need to enter your **Serial Key** once in the **AIMS Dashboard**. The Dashboard automatically saves and shares it with every other indicator:
1. Open any chart (e.g. EURUSD).
2. Right-click the chart $\rightarrow$ **Templates** $\rightarrow$ select **`iTradeAIMS — The Confluence Stack (Dark)`**. *(Or drag `AIMS-Confluence-Dashboard` from the Navigator onto the chart).*
3. In the indicator **Inputs** window, locate the parameter:
`SerialKey`
4. Paste your **Serial Key** (found on your [my.itradeaims.net](https://my.itradeaims.net/) dashboard) into the field.
5. Click **OK**.

### How the Universal Unlock Works[](#how-the-universal-unlock-works "Direct link to How the Universal Unlock Works")
* **Instant Multi-Indicator Sync**: Once entered, the Dashboard writes your key to MT5's Common Files folder (`Common\Files\iTradeAIMS\ConfluencePack.key`).
* **Every Indicator Unlocks**: AIMS Wave, AIMS Bubble, AIMS Box, and AIMS Banana automatically read this key. You never have to paste the key five times.
* **Multi-Terminal Support**: Any other MT5 terminal running on the same PC will automatically read the saved key.
* **Offline Resilience**: The licensing system re-validates periodically and tolerates temporary internet drops (up to 8 consecutive failed attempts) without interrupting your trading.

* **Chart HUD**: The AIMS Dashboard HUD displays cleanly in the upper-left area of the chart without any "Unlicensed" watermarks.
* **Signal Layers**: AIMS Wave shows wave numbers and AO histogram, AIMS Bubble displays channel bands, and AIMS Box draws consolidation boundaries.
* **Experts / Journal Tab**: The MT5 terminal log displays:
`[iTradeAIMS] Confluence Pack licensed successfully.`

## Troubleshooting Common Install Issues[](#troubleshooting-common-install-issues "Direct link to Troubleshooting Common Install Issues")
### "Unlicensed" text appears on the chart[](#unlicensed-text-appears-on-the-chart "Direct link to \"Unlicensed\" text appears on the chart")
* Check that your **Serial Key** is entered without accidental spaces at the beginning or end.
* Verify that **Allow WebRequest** is enabled with `https://dlms.itradeaims.net` in **Tools $\rightarrow$ Options $\rightarrow$ Expert Advisors**.
* Ensure **Allow DLL imports** is checked.
### Indicators are missing from the Navigator[](#indicators-are-missing-from-the-navigator "Direct link to Indicators are missing from the Navigator")
* Make sure you copied the files into the **MQL5 Data Folder** (opened via *File $\rightarrow$ Open Data Folder*), not the program installation directory in `C:\Program Files\`.
* Right-click the **Navigator** window and click **Refresh**.
### Template loads colors but no indicators[](#template-loads-colors-but-no-indicators "Direct link to Template loads colors but no indicators")
* Confirm that `iTradeAIMSLib.ex5` is placed in `MQL5\Libraries\`. Without this file, MT5 cannot load the indicators.
