Financial markets alternate between phases of low-volatility energy storage (contraction) and high-volatility directional expansion:

## The Corridor Breakout Playbook[](#the-corridor-breakout-playbook "Direct link to The Corridor Breakout Playbook")

1. **Identify the Consolidation**:

   * Observe the Alligator lines converging and intertwining.
   * The dashboard transitions to `Sleeping` or `Saddle Point`.
   * Horizontal corridor lines automatically plot at the highest upper and lowest lower fractals.

2. **Setup Confirmation**:

   * For **Bullish Breakout**: Look for candle close above the upper corridor line while the Alligator is positioned above the Purple line.
   * For **Bearish Breakout**: Look for candle close below the lower corridor line while the Alligator is positioned below the Purple line.

3. **Execution**:

   * Enter at the market or place a Stop order at the indicator's plotted Entry line.
   * Place Stop Loss at the dashed crimson SL line.

4. **Trade Management**:

   * Once price achieves `+1.0R`, bank 50% of the trade and move stop to breakeven.
   * Trail the remainder behind the Alligator Teeth (Red line).

## Saddle Point Equilibrium Straddle Strategy[](#saddle-point-equilibrium-straddle-strategy "Direct link to Saddle Point Equilibrium Straddle Strategy")

When the dashboard flags `SADDLE POINT (Equilibrium)`:

* The market has compressed into a narrow range where neither bulls nor bears dominate.
* **Execution**: Place a `Buy Stop` order 1 pip above the upper consolidation boundary and a `Sell Stop` order 1 pip below the lower boundary.
* When one order is triggered by the impending breakout surge, cancel the opposite pending order and trail the active position.
