**AIMS Grant's AO** is an analytical momentum tape indicator that condenses complex Awesome Oscillator wave states into a uniform horizontal status ribbon.

Instead of fluctuating histogram bars that vary in height, AIMS Grant's AO renders a clean status tape in a dedicated subwindow:



* **🟢 Green Ribbon (`Buffer 0`, Long Zone)**: Rendered in `C'34,177,76'`. Indicates that price is in a healthy momentum pullback within a dominant uptrend. This is the optimal window to hunt bullish continuation entries.
* **🔴 Red Ribbon (`Buffer 1`, Short Zone)**: Rendered in `C'237,28,36'`. Indicates that price is in a healthy momentum pullback within a dominant downtrend. Optimal window to hunt bearish continuation entries.
* **⚪ Gray Ribbon (`Buffer 2`, Neutral)**: Rendered in `clrSlateGray`. Indicates neutral momentum (extended trend without pullback or flat consolidation).

1. **Zero-Line Priming**:

   

   * Crossing above zero primes the engine for **Long Zone** tracking.
   * Crossing below zero primes the engine for **Short Zone** tracking.

2. **Peak Tracking**:
   
   * Records the highest AO peak above zero and lowest AO peak below zero, along with secondary interim peaks.

3. **Zone Activation**:
   
   * When AO momentum decelerates or pulls back from its peak without crossing zero, the zone becomes active, signaling that an entry opportunity is setting up.

4. **Zone Expiration**:
   
   * The zone closes when momentum accelerates to form a new peak or breaks across the zero line.
