The **AIMS Momentum Indicator** visually combines the canonical 4-colour AIMS Wave candlestick overlay with high-probability directional breakout arrows and an active entry/stop bracket.

The indicator overlays custom 4-colour candles reflecting the exact momentum state of the market:



* **Lime Green (`InpColorLime`)**: Strong bullish impulsion (`AO >= 0` and rising).
* **Dark Green (`InpColorDarkGreen`)**: Bullish deceleration / pullback (`AO >= 0` and falling).
* **Red (`InpColorRed`)**: Strong bearish impulsion (`AO < 0` and falling).
* **Maroon (`InpColorMaroon`)**: Bearish deceleration / pullback (`AO < 0` and rising).

Signals trigger upon the close of a candle that marks an acceleration shift out of a corrective pullback back into the dominant trend:

### 1. 🔵 Bullish Momentum Buy Signal[​](#1--bullish-momentum-buy-signal "Direct link to 1. 🔵 Bullish Momentum Buy Signal")

* **Structural Trend Gate**:

  

  * Alligator is fully expanded upward (`Lips > Teeth > Jaws`).
  * Price is trading above the **Purple Magic Line** (`SMMA 34, shift 21`).

* **Momentum Shift**:

  

  * Candle closes **Lime Green** (`AO >= 0` and rising).
  * The preceding bar was a non-Lime pullback bar (Dark Green, Red, or Maroon).

* **Chart Display**:

  

  * Small blue up arrow (Wingdings `#241` ▲) plotted below candle low.
  * Active order bracket projected forward with blue Entry line and dashed Stop Loss line.

* **Structural Trend Gate**:

  

  * Alligator is fully expanded downward (`Lips < Teeth < Jaws`).
  * Price is trading below the **Purple Magic Line** (`SMMA 34, shift 21`).

* **Momentum Shift**:

  

  * Candle closes **Red** (`AO < 0` and falling).
  * The preceding bar was a non-Red pullback bar (Maroon, Lime, or Dark Green).

* **Chart Display**:

  

  * Small red down arrow (Wingdings `#242` ▼) plotted above candle high.
  * Active order bracket projected forward with red Entry line and dashed Stop Loss line.

When `InpShowPriceLevels = true`, the indicator projects an active execution bracket forward across `InpBracketBars`:

* **Entry Line**: Solid horizontal line positioned at `High + buffer` (Buy) or `Low - buffer` (Sell).

* **Stop Loss Line**: Dashed horizontal line calculated according to `InpSLMethod`:

  

  1. `MOM_SL_CANDLE_EXTREME` (Mode 0): Placed at the Signal candle Low (Buy) or High (Sell) plus buffer.
  2. `MOM_SL_GATOR_JAWS` (Mode 1): Dynamic stop pegged to the Alligator Blue line (Jaws: SMMA 13, shift 8).
  3. `MOM_SL_FRACTAL` (Mode 2): Pegged to the most recent swing/fractal low (Buy) or high (Sell).
