The indicator evaluates the Awesome Oscillator (`AO = SMA_5 - SMA_34` of median price) on every closed candle and colors both candle bodies and wicks:

* **Bright Colors (Lime Green & Bright Red)**: Momentum is aggressively expanding in the direction of the dominant wave. Traders look for high-velocity breakout entries or hold existing trend runners.
* **Dark Colors (Dark Green & Maroon)**: Momentum is contracting or undergoing a corrective counter-trend wave. Traders should avoid chasing breakouts, protect open profits, or prepare for pullback continuation entries.
