Licensing

Banana EA MT5 uses a license key to validate each installation. The key must be entered every time you attach the EA to a chart.

Entering your license key​

In the EA inputs dialog, find the License Key (Serial Key) field and paste your key exactly as provided:

xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

Do not add spaces before or after the key.

Where to find your key​

Your license key is delivered by email after purchase and is also available in the iTradeAIMS customer portal at itradeaims.net.

What happens if the key is invalid​

  • The dashboard displays a license error message.
  • No trades will be placed.
  • An alert popup appears on the first tick.

Multiple terminals​

Each running MT5 terminal instance counts as one license activation. Running the EA on multiple chart tabs within the same terminal does not consume additional activations. Check your license terms for the number of terminal instances covered.

Backtesting​

When running the MT5 Strategy Tester, the EA detects tester mode automatically and uses the backtest license path. You do not need to enter your live license key for backtests.

Renewing or transferring​

Contact iTradeAIMS support for renewals, upgrades, or if you need to transfer an activation to a new machine or broker.
