Quick Start — Banana EA MT4 v6.0

Get up and running with Banana EA v6.0 in 5 simple steps.

1. Prepare Your MT4 Chart​

  • Open your desired chart (e.g. EURUSD M5 or GER40 M15 as specified by your strategy).
  • Ensure AutoTrading is enabled in the top MT4 toolbar (button should display a green icon).

2. Attach Banana EA v6.0​

  • Open the MT4 Navigator panel (Ctrl + N).
  • Expand Expert Advisors.
  • Drag BananaEA-Auto onto your chart.

3. Configure License & Inputs​

  • In the EA Properties window, click the Inputs tab.
  • Enter your iTradeAIMS license key into LicenseSerial.
  • Set LogVerbosity to Quiet (default) or State changes + reasons for detailed diagnostic logs.

4. Load a Version 6.0 Preset​

  • Click the Load button at the bottom of the Inputs window.
  • Navigate to MQL4/Presets/BananaEA/.
  • Select an official v6.0 preset matching your strategy profile:
    • BEA-V6-CHALLENGE.set — Growth Phase (4.0% Daily DD, 3 Loss Limit, 30 min cooldown)
    • BEA-V6-VERIFICATION.set — Steady Phase (4.0% Daily DD, 3 Loss Limit, 30 min cooldown)
    • BEA-V6-FUNDED.set — Live Account (3.0% Daily DD, 2 Loss Limit, 60 min cooldown)
  • Click OK to apply.

5. Verify Smart Risk Monitor Status​

  • Inspect the top-left area of your chart.
  • Confirm the Smart Risk Monitor panel displays:
    • Header: Banana EA v6.0
    • License: Authorized
    • Protection Status: Active limits for Daily Drawdown, Consecutive Losses, and Cooldown.
    • Smilie Icon: A smiling face in the top-right corner of the chart indicates automated trading is active.
