AIMS The Fruit Indicator (MT4)

AIMS The Fruit is a high-precision pattern recognition indicator based on Bill Williams' classic Divergent Bar concept, modernized with the AIMS Alligator, Fractal Breakout filters, and Alligator Angulation clearance rules.

A Divergent Bar represents extreme angulation—where price stretches excessively far away from the Alligator moving averages and exhausts its momentum, creating a ripe "fruit" ready to drop from the tree.

What Problem Does It Solve?​

Traders frequently fall into two traps at market extremes:

  1. Chasing extended moves into climactic blow-offs, buying the top or selling the bottom.
  2. Missing optimal take-profit targets because they lack an objective, rule-based signal that an impulse wave has completed.

AIMS The Fruit solves both challenges by objectively flagging high-probability exhaustion bars on closed candles with zero repaint.

4-Step Quickstart​

  1. Installation: Copy AIMSFruit.ex4 to your MetaTrader 4 MQL4/Indicators/ directory and restart MT4 (or launch in /portable mode).
  2. Attach to Chart: Attach the indicator to any liquid Forex major (e.g., EURUSD, GBPUSD) or Cross (GBPJPY) on the H1 or H4 timeframe.
  3. Verify Settings: Leave default filter settings (InpFilterAIMS = true, InpFilterAwesome = true, InpFilterGator = true) enabled for calibrated signal purity.
  4. Execution Protocol: Wait for the signal candle to close. Place an entry stop or target management order 1 pip past the opposite extremity of the Fruit candle.
