BananaEA provides advanced workspace management to organize your trading environment efficiently.
Layout Modes
Stacked Layout:
- All trade panels arranged vertically on right side of chart
- Minimal horizontal space usage
- Easy scrolling through multiple trades
- Best for: reviewing many positions at once
Cascaded Layout:
- Panels offset diagonally (top-left to bottom-right)
- Each panel header visible for quick identification
- Better visual separation between trades
- Best for: actively managing 3-5 concurrent positions
Custom Layout:
- Manually position panels anywhere on chart
- Positions saved automatically between sessions
- Automatically adjusts to resolution changes
- Best for: personalized multi-monitor setups
Layout Control Buttons
Rearrange Windows Button:
- Behavior: Cycles through Stacked → Cascaded → Custom layout modes
- Click the button to switch between automatic layout styles
- Custom mode allows you to position panels manually
- Keyboard Shortcut: Check dashboard tooltips if available
Minimize/Maximize Toggle:
- Behavior:
- Minimize: collapses all panels to title bar only
- Maximize: expands all panels to full view
- Individual panel min/max: click panel header
- Use Case: Quickly clear chart space for analysis, then restore panels
Clear Chart Objects:
- Removes:
- Entry lines (LINES mode)
- Pending order markers
- Swing high/low indicators (SWING mode)
- Candle markers (CANDLE mode)
- Stale visual helpers
- Preserves:
- Active trade panels
- Dashboard controls
- SL/TP lines for open positions
- Safety: Asks for confirmation before clearing (if enabled in settings)
Persistence & State Management
What's Saved:
- Panel positions (x,y coordinates per ticket)
- Dashboard TC state (AUTO/MANAGE/PAUSED)
- Entry Mode selection (CANDLE/SWING/LINES)
- Order Type selection (PO/MO)
- Theme selection
- Minimize/maximize state
How Settings are Saved:
- Your preferences are stored in MT4 global variables (persists across EA restarts)
- To reset all saved preferences: Go to
EA Properties → Common → Delete All Global Variables
Resolution & Multi-Monitor Support:
- Behavior: Automatically adjusts panel positions when resolution changes
- Multi-Monitor: Positions saved per monitor configuration
- Best Practice: Set up layout on your primary trading monitor and EA will preserve it
Workspace Tips
- Initial Setup:
- Set TC to MANAGE
- Open a few test positions
- Arrange panels to your preference
- Switch to AUTO — layout persists
- Multi-Symbol Trading:
- Each chart maintains independent panel layouts
- Use same layout across symbols: manually position once, EA replicates on new charts
- Performance:
- Minimize panels when not actively trading
- Use

- Troubleshooting:
- If panels disappear: Enable debug logging in EA settings to see error messages
- If layout resets: Your saved preferences may have been cleared
