This settings guide is for BananaEA Version 4. The latest stable Version 4 release is v4.5.1. Version 4 and Version 5 .set files are not interchangeable.

Start With A Tested Set

Download the latest Version 4 optimization sets from:

https://my.itradeaims.net/latest-optimization-sets/

Load the .set file that matches your symbol and timeframe, then adjust only the account-specific settings such as risk, license key, and magic number.

Settings Categories

Core Trading Settings

• General Settings - license key, magic number, position limits, and optimization set name
• Risk Management - lot sizing and account exposure
• Stop Loss & Take Profit - stop and target calculation methods

Trade Management

• Trade Management Mode - using Magic Number 0 to manage manual trades
• Advanced Features - break-even, partial close, trailing stop, and robustness metrics
• Pending Orders - pending-order expiry and cancellation

Filters And Controls

• Trading Hours & Filters - sessions, EMA filters, and market filters
• Signal Configuration - signal sources and pattern controls
• AI & Machine Learning - AI confidence filtering, if your build includes it

Visuals And Alerts

• Trade Visualization - chart arrows and visual feedback
• Alert Configuration - master alert switch and alert types
• Visual Customization - chart panels, colors, sizing, and DPI notes

New User Checklist

1. Download the correct Version 4 .set file.
2. Attach BananaEA to the matching chart symbol and timeframe.
3. Load the .set file from the Inputs tab.
4. Enter License Key for demo or live trading.
5. Set Optimization Set Name so screenshots and dashboards show the active setup.
6. Confirm Lot Method and Risk Per Trade.
7. Keep Maximum Open Trades low while learning.
8. Confirm Enable Trading Hours Control and Session 1/2 times match broker time.
9. Keep critical alerts enabled.

Live Trading Checklist

1. License Key is entered.
2. Magic Number is unique per EA instance, unless using Trade Management Mode.
3. Maximum Slippage is suitable for the symbol and broker.
4. Detailed support messages are off for normal live use.
5. Risk Per Trade is conservative, preferably 1-2% while learning.
6. Total exposure is checked: Maximum Open Trades x risk.
7. Critical alerts are enabled, especially order rejection and drawdown alerts.
8. The chart symbol, timeframe, and preset all match.

Risk Verification

• Keep per-trade risk at 5% or less, preferably 1-2%.
• Keep total exposure within your account rules.
• Test on demo before live trading.
• Validate stop loss and take profit distances with your broker.
• Change one setting at a time so the result is understandable.
