This settings guide is for BananaEA Version 4. The latest stable Version 4 release is v4.5.1. Version 4 and Version 5 .set files are not interchangeable.
Start With A Tested Set
Download the latest Version 4 optimization sets from:
https://my.itradeaims.net/latest-optimization-sets/
Load the .set file that matches your symbol and timeframe, then adjust only the account-specific settings such as risk, license key, and magic number.

New User Checklist
- Download the correct Version 4
.setfile. - Attach BananaEA to the matching chart symbol and timeframe.
- Load the
.setfile from the Inputs tab. - Enter License Key for demo or live trading.
- Set Optimization Set Name so screenshots and dashboards show the active setup.
- Confirm Lot Method and Risk Per Trade.
- Keep Maximum Open Trades low while learning.
- Confirm Enable Trading Hours Control and Session 1/2 times match broker time.
- Keep critical alerts enabled.
Live Trading Checklist
- License Key is entered.
- Magic Number is unique per EA instance, unless using Trade Management Mode.
- Maximum Slippage is suitable for the symbol and broker.
- Detailed support messages are off for normal live use.
- Risk Per Trade is conservative, preferably 1-2% while learning.
- Total exposure is checked: Maximum Open Trades x risk.
- Critical alerts are enabled, especially order rejection and drawdown alerts.
- The chart symbol, timeframe, and preset all match.
Risk Verification
- Keep per-trade risk at 5% or less, preferably 1-2%.
- Keep total exposure within your account rules.
- Test on demo before live trading.
- Validate stop loss and take profit distances with your broker.
- Change one setting at a time so the result is understandable.
