AI Optimization

This page explains the optional AI optimization workflow, if it is included in your BananaEA package or support materials.

This feature is optional. You do not need it to install BananaEA, run the EA, or use normal MT4 Strategy Tester optimization.

What It Is For​

AI optimization tools can help review optimization data or suggest parameter areas to test.

They should be treated as research assistance, not as automatic trading instructions.

Basic Workflow​

  1. Run MT4 Strategy Tester optimization.
  2. Export or review the optimization results.
  3. Use the AI tool, if available, to compare parameter groups.
  4. Select a small number of candidates for retesting.
  5. Run fresh backtests.
  6. Forward test on demo before live use.

What To Avoid​

  • Do not use an AI suggestion directly on a live account.
  • Do not optimize on one short period and assume it will continue.
  • Do not judge settings by profit alone.
  • Do not ignore drawdown, trade count, spread, and losing streaks.
