Install on MT5
Use this guide for the Confluence Installer v3.0 package. You will install the suite files, activate five products at my.itradeaims.net, and confirm each indicator is live in MetaTrader 5. Allow 20–30 minutes the first time.
Suite contents: AIMS Box Advanced, AIMS Bubble, AIMS Wave, Banana Indicator, Setup Indicator, Confluence Indicator, and the iTradeAIMS Dashboard.
Before you start
The suite runs on MetaTrader 5 with any broker. For the smoothest first install, use a clean or fresh MT5 terminal — a new demo account is ideal. You can install into a terminal you already use, but older indicators with similar names may clash.
You need:
- MetaTrader 5 (any broker)
- The Confluence Installer package from Latest Downloads on your member dashboard (unzip after download)
- Your iTradeAIMS member login at my.itradeaims.net
- About 20–30 minutes of uninterrupted time
Open Latest Downloads on your dashboard and download the Confluence Installer v3.0 package before step 1 below.
Stages: 1) Install files · 2) Verify Navigator · 3) Load dashboard · 4) Enable trading · 5) Activate licenses · 6) Add to chart
Each license is tied to a specific MT5 data folder. You have up to three terminal slots. Installing or activating across two different folders by accident is the most common reason indicators stay offline. Decide now which single terminal you will use.
1. Install the files
Download the suite package from Latest Downloads if you have not already.
Unzip the installer package and run Setup — iTradeAIMS MT5 Indicators version 3.0. Read each screen carefully. The installer does not ask for your name, email, license text, or trial request — activation files are supplied separately from the member dashboard.
When asked for an install location, the installer detects your MT5 terminals — choose the one terminal you decided on earlier. On the components screen, leave Full installation selected unless support told you otherwise (Dashboard + Runtime License V2, all indicator products, manuals, and starter chart templates).
The wizard screenshots below apply to all iTradeAIMS MT5 installs — Confluence suite, Setup Indicator (AIMS Box) standalone, Banana Indicator MT5, and related packages. Only the product list on the components screen and Navigator folder contents differ per package.
It is safe to install while MT5 is open with live trades. These are indicators and templates; they will not interfere with open positions.
An “unknown publisher” warning is normal. Allow the installer to continue. If your antivirus silently blocks files without asking, note it now — that often causes activation problems later.
Walk through the wizard in order: accept the license notice, tick your MT5 terminal, confirm components, review the destination data folder, then click Install. On the final screen, note the installed MT5 data folder path — you will need the same folder when you run activation files.

When setup finishes
The installer’s completion screen lists your next steps. In short:
- Restart MetaTrader 5 or refresh the Navigator.
- Look under Navigator → Indicators → iTradeAIMS.
- Attach the selected indicators and iTradeAIMS Dashboard MT5 to a chart.
- Enable Allow DLL imports when MetaTrader asks — required for the MT5 license runtime.
- Double-click each
.itradeaims-activationfile supplied for your products. - In the iTradeAIMS License Activation window, confirm the product and MT5 data folder, then click Install Activation.
- Reload or recheck the products after activation files are installed.
- Use the dashboard License Center to view customer-safe Runtime V2 status.
If approved starter templates were included in your build, they appear under the MT5 Templates menu with iTradeAIMS names — apply them after activation, not before.
2. Verify in the Navigator
Open MT5 and expand Navigator → Indicators. You should see a new iTradeAIMS folder containing:
- AIMSBoxAdvancedMT5
- AIMSBubbleMT5
- AIMSWaveMT5
- BananaIndicator
- iTradeAIMSDashboardMT5
Template files also become available (right-click a chart → Templates). Do not apply templates yet — wait until activation is complete.
3. Load and size the dashboard
Open a chart, then drag iTradeAIMS Dashboard from the Navigator onto it.
At first the panel may be large and sections may show “Activation required” or “Not live” — that is expected.
- Use the [−] / [+] buttons to collapse sections you do not need.
- Open Settings → GUI to set Scale (XS–Screen) and Theme.
- Use Restore Defaults if you over-adjust.
Almost always, algorithmic trading is not enabled yet. Complete step 4 next.
4. Enable algorithmic trading
Open Tools → Options (or press Ctrl+O) and go to the Expert Advisors tab. Enable both:
- Allow algorithmic trading
- Allow DLL imports
Click OK. Both settings are required for the licensing engine to run.
When you first attach an indicator or the dashboard, MetaTrader may prompt again for Allow DLL imports on that chart — choose Yes.
5. Activate your licenses
Activation happens on the member site — not inside MT5.
- Sign in at my.itradeaims.net.
- Open the Activation Dashboard (“Open activation dashboard”).
- On the Licenses Activation page, activate each product.
On Licenses Activation, each product has its own blue Activate / Re-activate button. You should see all five listed below. If you only see one or two buttons, hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+F5).

Activate each product:
- iTradeAIMS | The Banana Indicator MT5
- iTradeAIMS | The Setup Indicator MT5
- iTradeAIMS | Elliott Wave Indicator MT5
- The Confluence Indicator
- iTradeAIMS | The Bubble MT5
Click Activate / Re-activate for each product in turn. An Activation Download modal opens — walk through it for every indicator (screens below). The modal title matches the product you clicked. Repeat this flow for all five products.

The modal reminds you of three rules every time:
- Choose the correct platform and terminal folder when prompted.
- Install into the same location where the installer put your indicators.
- If you have multiple terminals, select the one you actually use for this product.
After each download, double-click the .itradeaims-activation file. The iTradeAIMS License Activation window opens.
Install activation file
Double-click the downloaded .itradeaims-activation file. The iTradeAIMS License Activation window shows the product name and a list of MT5 data folders to install into.

How the folder is picked
The activation tool automatically detects MT5 data folders on your PC — the same paths MetaTrader uses under AppData\Roaming\MetaQuotes\Terminal\…. When you installed indicators with the suite installer, it targeted one of these folders; the activation file usually pre-selects that matching path.
Check that the listed folder is the same terminal you chose during setup (compare with the path on the installer’s completion screen, or in MT5: File → Open Data Folder). When the folder is correct, the status line reads “Ready. 1 MT5 data folder(s) confirmed.”
Installing on other folders (up to 3)
Your license supports up to three terminal slots. If you also installed iTradeAIMS on another MT5 terminal and want this product active there too, click Add folder and browse to that terminal’s data folder.
- Only add folders where you actually installed the suite for that product.
- Do not add a random or old MetaTrader install you do not use — that causes “Live Missing” errors.
- Repeat for each of the five
.itradeaims-activationfiles (one per product).
Click Install Activation. A confirmation appears when the license is written:

In MT5: File → Open Data Folder, then MQL5/Files/iTradeAIMS. Activation must target this exact folder for the terminal you trade on. Pointing at a different install is the #1 reason activation fails.
Download all five files, then run all five in one sitting. Generate fresh files if any expire.
After all five files are installed, reload indicators or restart MT5. On the dashboard License Center, each product should show Live Active (green) with customer-safe Runtime V2 status.
6. Add indicators and confirm
Restart MetaTrader 5 or refresh the Navigator. Expand Navigator → Indicators → iTradeAIMS — you should see your installed products.

Drag iTradeAIMS Dashboard MT5 and your indicators onto a chart. Enable Allow DLL imports when MetaTrader prompts you.
Open dashboard Settings → License. Each activated product should show Live Active (green) or Runtime active for Confluence.

To load a styled layout, right-click the chart → Templates → choose an iTradeAIMS template (e.g. The Confluence Stack).

Status pills at the top of the dashboard show what is active: blue/green = live, red = not yet activated.

How the signals work
Each indicator shows its own signal on the chart and dashboard.
- Confluence adds a combined read in “Setup 1 Confluence” and “Banana Confluence”.
- AIMS Box highlights genuine Setup 1 signals — strongest when Confluence agrees.
- AIMS Bubble can show market Regime on the chart (in settings).
Troubleshooting
Match the message you see on the dashboard. Most problems come from antivirus blocking, the wrong data folder, or installing in two places at once.
“Live Missing” after activation
- Restart MT5.
- Confirm Ctrl+O → Expert Advisors: both algorithmic trading and DLL imports are on.
- Confirm the activation targeted the same data folder as your install (
MQL5/Files/iTradeAIMS).
“Server check failed”
Usually antivirus or Windows security blocking license files. Temporarily allow or whitelist iTradeAIMS, then download fresh activation files and run them again. Restart MT5 afterward.
Missing activation buttons on the website
There are five products to activate. Hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+F5), download all five files, and run each one.
“Active” but 0 connected / stale
Often caused by installing in two separate locations. Remove the duplicate and keep one terminal. A clean fresh MT5 demo with a single activation is the most reliable fix.
Product still unlicensed
Confirm the matching .itradeaims-activation file was installed into the same MT5 data folder as the installer (File → Open Data Folder in MetaTrader). Contact support with the product name and a masked screenshot of the License Center status. Do not send raw activation tokens in screenshots or email.
Support asked for a diagnostic packet
Use Start Menu → iTradeAIMS → Create iTradeAIMS Diagnostic Packet to build a local packet. Review it before sending manually — no automatic upload is performed. Do not include raw activation tokens, raw serials, Runtime V2 local state files, passwords, signing material, or screenshots that expose those values.
Still stuck on a home PC?
If security software keeps blocking activation after the steps above, try a clean install on a VPS or a fresh demo terminal from MQL5 — many traders run the suite there without issues.
