Daily Use Checklist

Use this checklist before relying on the indicator during a trading session.

Start-of-session checklist for The Banana Indicator: open the correct platform, confirm live data, attach the indicator, verify license or access, check symbol and timeframe, and enable only needed alerts
Confirm platform, data, indicator attachment, license, symbol, and alerts before your session — then continue below for signal review and end-of-session notes.

Start Of Session

  1. Open the correct platform: MT4, MT5, or TradingView.
  2. Confirm the chart is receiving live data.
  3. Confirm The Banana Indicator MT5 is attached, or the MT4/TradingView Banana Indicator version is added.
  4. Confirm license or access is active.
  5. Check that the symbol and timeframe are the ones you intend to watch.
  6. Turn on only the alerts you need.

Before Reviewing A Signal

Check:

  • Is the candle confirmed?
  • Is the market trending, ranging, or unclear?
  • Is price near support or resistance?
  • Is there scheduled news?
  • Is the spread acceptable?
  • Do you know where your stop loss would go?

If the answer is unclear, skip the signal.

If The Chart Is Too Busy

Try:

  1. Hide Seed signals.
  2. Show fewer Banana signal counts.
  3. Hide EMA lines.
  4. Collapse the dashboard.
  5. Use one chart while learning.

If You Change Settings

Use a simple routine:

  1. Change one setting.
  2. Observe the result.
  3. Write down what changed.
  4. Avoid changing several filters at once.
  5. Return to defaults if the chart becomes confusing.

End Of Session

  1. Note which signals you reviewed.
  2. Note whether you took, skipped, or waited.
  3. Record why.
  4. Review mistakes without changing settings immediately.

This routine helps you learn the indicator without chasing every marker.
